Emergency Landing!

  • Aero Strategies Group Aviation Training Center 200 Trans Air Drive Morrisville, NC, 27560 United States (map)

One day you may find yourself in a crisis for which you have no formal training. As the crisis unfolds the situation becomes increasingly dynamic and unpredictable with every passing moment:

Sitting in the passenger seat of a jet airliner have you ever wondered, if the situation presented itself, could you safely land the plane if no one else could? If you had help from another passenger, how would you work to solve a problem neither of you had the training to solve?

We'll take you there in this challenging, fully immersive flight simulator experience!

We'll kick this event off with an introduction from Tom Armstrong, commercial pilot and owner of Aero Strategies Group, and then we'll have the opportunity to fly a 737 airplane simulator with a partner and compete to see who has the best landing.

Our attendees can watch the landings on screen while socializing and completing emergency landing scenarios with each other.

We'll have time to socialize while enjoying dinner and drinks and then will wrap up with key takeaways on how these crisis management techniques apply to business.

Key Takeaways:

  • Fostering a “Take Charge” mindset to all members of a team

  • Aviation - Crew Resource Management (CRM) applied to business

  • Aviation - Threat Error Management (TEM) applied to business

  • Threat Mitigation to deter Risk Aversion

  • Planning Principles - Action versus Reaction
